OWNER / DIRECTOR

Hemel Meghani Cosme is a certified USPTA & PTR Professional. She is a USTA Net Generation coach and a Licensed Cardio Professional. Hemel grew up in New York playing at the public parks in Queens. She is a former professional world ranked singles and doubles player. She graduated from University of California-Santa Barbara with a double degree in Law & Sociology. Prior to owning APTC Hemel ran Central Park Tennis Center the largest municipal tennis facility in the United States.

CO-DIRECTOR

Flore Cadet has been part of the APTC family since 2013. She is not a Tennis Professional, but she can tell you all information related to the programs and schedules. Born and raised in Haiti, she received her bachelor’s in architecture. Flore has a passion for business and customer service. Proven experience as Club Manager Above-average communication skills, Strong leadership capabilities, Knowledge of inventory management and club procedures, Ability to maintain constant communication with staff Problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective conflict resolution and trouble-shooting abilities

TENNIS & PICKLEBALL TEACHING PROFESSIONAL

Bill Lukowski is a certified PTR Teaching Professional. Bill’s be part of our APTC staff since 2005. Bill has competed on a national and international level (ATP & USTA Tour). Bill is dedicated to improving his students in the growth of their tennis development. Lessons with Bill are informative and fun!

TEACHING PROFESSIONAL

Jason Chin is a certified USPTA Teaching Professional. He resides in Bayside, Queens with his wife Jenny and his 3 kids who all play and love the game of tennis. Jason has been teaching for over 20 years. He brings a wealth of experience to APTC and all of his lessons are FUN, learning and high energy! He has a great way of making you feel like you are having a blast on the court and before you know it the lesson is over till next time!

TEACHING PROFESSIONAL

Ana is a tennis professional with over 3 years of experience in coaching. She is a PTR Level 1 Certified Coach and has worked with children and adults of various ages. Ana is originally from Kyiv, Ukraine and played for a D2 collegiate tennis team. She has also been an Assistant Coach for the Queens College Men`s Tennis team for 2 years. Ana received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Political Science and Communications, and is currently studying for her second Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition.

ASSISTANT MANAGER

Ann Karpova is a Native of Moscow Russia. As a former Tennis mom, she has wealth and knowledge of tennis. She has been administrating the tennis business for over 20 years. Ann joined APTC staff in September 2018.

OFFICE ASSOCIATE / TEACHING ASSISTANT

Michela joined us in 2020 as a member of our summer camp staff. She has a remarkable ability to connect with our young hitters and is a welcomed addition to our front desk staff. Michela grew up playing tennis in Forest Hills and actively participated in her high school's varsity team. Currently in her senior year at CCNY, she is pursuing a major in Psychology on the research track. Michela's warm and inviting demeanor shines through as she consistently greets our customers with her infectious smile and radiant positive energy.

OFFICE ASSOCIATE

Anyah Harrison is a college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing to later become a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Anyah has been part of our APTC staff since 2021. She is dedicated to pleasing our customers and contributing to the success of our business.
